Jaguar Parents and Guardians,

     First of all, let me thank you for the outstanding support for the Mentor Walk held at Georgia State University. Over 400 attended -students, parents, teachers, and two administrators--- and the students were model "scholars"! Secondly, thanks for making sure that our students are uniformed. We celebrated another month of success with a movie and barbeque on Friday afternoon, and we are gearing up for next month's activity. Lastly, with the new assessment for the state of Georgia, SMS will be presenting a Title I workshop, entitled --All I Need to Know about GA Milestones --for my child to be successful! We are offering a morning session from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.; an afternoon session from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m., and an evening session beginning promptly at 6:00 p.m. (The evening session will also be combined with an 8th grade parent meeting and presentation).
